Cliftons Projects is proud to announce the successful delivery of a critical, fast-track project for Portsmouth NHS Trust: the creation of a modular 12-bed winter pressure ward and the relocation of an outpatient discharge lounge within an accelerated 8-week timeline.

Project Overview and Key Achievements

In response to the Trust’s urgent seasonal needs, Cliftons Projects managed the design and construction of a new 12-bed ward, strategically positioned between two active medical wards. This location required careful coordination to avoid disruption to the hospital’s 24/7 operations while meeting the ambitious programme schedule.

Additionally, the outpatient discharge lounge was relocated to a custom-fitted modular structure in a nearby car park. Cliftons Projects led all aspects of the client-directed relocation, including the coordination of enabling and installation works, ensuring seamless continuity for both patients and staff.
