Cliftons Projects were been appointed by Itchen Sixth Form College to act as Project Managers and Cost Consultants for a two storey building contain five classrooms and two offices to their existing facility in Bitterne, Southampton.
Our role involved:
Planning permission incl S106 & discharge of conditions
Contractor selection including due diligence
Contract negotiation
Collation of Contract Documents including the drafting of the JCT documentation
Cost planning and change control Contracts Administration
Progress and programme monitoring
The project recently received funding from the DfE and has a very tight timescale for completion associated with the funding.
The works were procured under a two stage negotiated Design & Build form of contract with the initial design work undertaken under a Pre-Construction Service Agreement (PCSA)
The project completed on time and within the £1m budget to the complete satisfaction of our client.
